My oldest daughter...

My kids rarely ask me to take their pictures. They have PKS (Photographer's Kids Syndrome) which means, they're over pictures. I was surprised Larissa wanted to brave the chilly garage studio Saturday and wanted me to take new pictures of her so of course I obliged!!!!

Oscar - who isn't grouchy at all... or green!

When I think of the name Oscar, I can't help but think of
the green Sesame Street character, who is always cross.
This little guy is NOTHING like him.
Maybe a little confused on what we wanted him to do but totally not trash can material!

He's actually very regal really.........  ;)

Two more pooches!

If you follow my blog or facebook page, you should be aware I'm working on
The Dog Project.
All about furry best-friends. This week I had several more come to see me.

Say hello to Zoey - a brindle boston terrier who couldn't quite figure out why she
was suddenly encouraged to be ON the furniture. ;)

A few days later Bella came to play. She American Bulldog with a little Boxer thrown in and
OMG she's cute!!!!

Cocoa is completely adorable!

At just 10 weeks old, he weighs in at only 5.5 lbs and is incredibly well behaved!
His owners were the first to answer my "best-friend" casting call but be warned, more furry cuteness is to come! Right now I will be shooting these furry little guys for the next few weeks.
My apologies to all the cat lovers out there, but you all have YouTube. ;)

Elycia is turning 1!!!!!

They say they grow up so fast. They really do! It feels like just
yesterday I was taking this cutie's newborn portraits and now she's already almost one!

Every dog serves a purpose in life.....

And his is her........

As I struggle to train my newest furbaby to sit or walk on a leash, Burton has been training to help Hannah with anything she might need. It's amazing really. He's gone from a two week old pup who had a momma that wasn't quite ready for motherhood and then he found Hannah. Bottle feedings, trainers, correcting bad behaviors and through all of that he adores her and wants to help her, so he's training; and it's amazing...

She is his purpose in life.
She might have saved his but in the process, he became hers....

That's true love....... and life with a dog.......

A Best Friend...

As I look back through images I've taken over the years, I noticed I photograph many four legged best friends! I do believe I am going to put together a special project next month. A little black book (5x7 size) of nothing but these guys. If you'd like your best friend to participate, please send me an email!

Baby Braxton {2 Weeks New}

If that little Popeye cuteness doesn't make you smile..... well, you may just need a nap or a cookie- or both! ;)

Someday, he's going to be a Chippendale dancer......

Or maybe, he'll be on Wall Street! No matter what path he chooses in life, he'll be loved during the ride...

Welcome to the world Braxton!
