This is one incredibly adorable family, and they're super sweet to boot!
My Three Girls....
My oldest daughter (14 years old) came home from high-school yesterday in her full hair and makeup from her musical rehearsal, so I made her sit in a chair for me...lol
Everyone says she looks like me. I don't really see it but what I do see is amazing... She's stunning but she's also sarcastic with a quick wit. She'll do anything for those she cares about and is always willing to help out when needed. She is incredibly smart and intuitive. I see the toddler she used to be, with her curls bouncing with every step and I see the wonderful woman she will become emerge a little more each day. Photographing her is a little bitter sweet, each time she's a little older and a little more mature - at the same time, with each photograph, I can keep her just as she is in the moment in time.

Faith and Macey (8 and 6 years old) probably deserve their own post but I've already posted several times today..lol When I mentioned I was going to have a friend bring her son over to tryout the new grass that came in for Easter sessions, my girls begged me to use them instead. I'll still photograph my friend's little guy but I did use them too! ;)
I'm pretty lucky to have such awesome ladies that call me mom. One day soon, I'll tie the boys up if I have to for pictures. ;)
Khelsea & Louie
Meet the older generation of my dog project.
Khelsea is a 16 year old Rhodesian Ridge-back....
Little Louie is a 10 year old Italian Greyhound...
He is nearly blind and she is deaf, together they are quite the pair and as sweet as can be...
Thank you for bringing them out Jennifer!
The Tafoya's....
I titled this set "The Tafoya's" but really it should be "More Tafoya's" - I have yet to meet a Tafoya
that I'm NOT related to. When your great-grandmother has 13 kids, there's a lot of cousins..lol
Don't ask me what generation cousin's we are because I'd seriously have to stop and think about it but we're cousins nonetheless. ;)
My oldest daughter...
My kids rarely ask me to take their pictures. They have PKS (Photographer's Kids Syndrome) which means, they're over pictures. I was surprised Larissa wanted to brave the chilly garage studio Saturday and wanted me to take new pictures of her so of course I obliged!!!!
Oscar - who isn't grouchy at all... or green!
When I think of the name Oscar, I can't help but think of
the green Sesame Street character, who is always cross.
This little guy is NOTHING like him.
Maybe a little confused on what we wanted him to do but totally not trash can material!
He's actually very regal really......... ;)
Two more pooches!
If you follow my blog or facebook page, you should be aware I'm working on
The Dog Project.
All about furry best-friends. This week I had several more come to see me.
Say hello to Zoey - a brindle boston terrier who couldn't quite figure out why she
was suddenly encouraged to be ON the furniture. ;)
A few days later Bella came to play. She American Bulldog with a little Boxer thrown in and
OMG she's cute!!!!
